NCM at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona

From November 7th to 9th, 2023, Barcelona was the global capital of smart cities, hosting the prestigious Smart City Expo World Congress. This international event reaffirmed its status as a benchmark for the smart city sector, attracting over 24,000 professionals from more than 800 cities and bringing together more than 600 international speakers. These experts shared their visions on how to build a more sustainable urban future.

During the event, NCM had the opportunity to stand out as an exhibitor, presenting its innovative AI4PT solution for passenger counting based on artificial intelligence and computer vision. This advanced technology generated significant interest among participants, demonstrating how intelligent solutions can effectively transform the management and sustainability of public transport in cities.

In addition to participating as an exhibitor, NCM also contributed with a presentation at the Innovation Plaza, where we delved into the crucial role of our technology in the evolution of urban transport systems. Our speech highlighted how AI4PT can not only improve the accuracy of passenger counting but also provide essential tools for resource optimization and service planning, strengthening inclusion and accessibility in the urban context.

A further highlight of this edition was the opportunity to connect with strategic players in the industry, such as Accenture, Nvidia, Axis, PwC, Deloitte, Samsung Rail Automation, and Edison, among others. These meetings allowed us to explore new collaboration opportunities and consolidate our presence in the international smart cities landscape, promoting our cutting-edge solutions for a more sustainable and integrated future.
